Our Story
The story began years ago when the Martinez brothers came to the United States for the “American Dream” in 1996. Through hard work to make their dream a reality, the brothers set out for an adventure that would lead them to success. But it wasn’t easy, faced with ups and downs, good days and bad their will to succeed was tested with much adversity.
Two short years later, La Hacienda opened it’s doors for the first time in 1998 by Geronimo Martinez, one of the Martinez brothers. Our food and great customer service prevailed and the community began to recognize the great food (and awesome margaritas) La Hacienda had brought to their community.
For more than 20 years La Hacienda has always prided itself in serving you and your family the best authentic Mexican food in all of Chapel Hill. We hope to serve you for many years to come, just as long as you keep coming back!
